Congratulations to Our Reflections Winners!
Many thanks to all the students who entered our school Reflections Contest! Everyone’s entries showed great work and integrity in expressing the theme “I Belong”.
All of the entries will be on display in the Media Center November 18 from 6 - 7:30 pm at our Reflections Celebration Art Show and Performance! We hope every student can come with their families and be inspired by these great artworks, readings, song and dances. Come cheer on our 2025-26 artists as they get their awards during this special event! (Bonus! There will be treats!)

Reflections is a national contest created by the National PTA. This competition encourages students to express themselves through artistic exploration. Each year a new theme is presented as a focus for student entries.
EVERYONE belongs in this program!
The Theme for 2025-26 is I Belong.
What does that mean to you?
...Where do you feel most accepted, understood, or safe? ...Who makes you
feel like you’re part of something? ...When do you feel most true to yourself?
You might reflect on:
A place where you feel at home — like your school, your family, your team, with animals or out in nature, or in your community
A group where you feel seen and supported
A moment where you felt proud to be yourself
An accomplishment you achieved with a group
A dream of what belonging could look like for you or for others
Use your feelings, ideas, or personal stories to create your artwork. You can express it through music, literature, film, dance, photography, or visual art.
Two winners (winner and first runner-up) from each division and category will move on to the County-level competition.

A video of the student dancing related to the year’s theme
Film Production:
I have seen everything from original animated sketches to someone interview a cat to explanations involving LEGOs. This category is wide-open for interpretation, and with all the social media consumed and created these days could be an easy challenge to take on.

Original composition - instrumental or song. Performance recorded either by audio or video and shared. High School students are required to submit sheet music and/or lyrics as applicable. Middle School students encouraged but not required. Quick note: Please don’t just sing a song karaoke style. These will be disqualified.

Digital or film. Your story (artist’s statement) will make or break these entries.
